ACTU OHS & Workers' Compensation Conference 2010 - speeches and presentations

21 June, 2010 | PDF The ACTU OHS & Workers' Compensation Conference 2010 took place in Canberra on May 26-27 and was attended by over 90 union OHS staff.

The conference focused on the way forward for the Australian union movement in the wake of the harmonisation of Occupational Health and Safety laws. It looked at the lessons learnt, and how to translate those lessons into responses to the possible forthcoming harmonisation of Workers’ Compensation laws in Australia.

The conference also looked at the big issues faced by workers today, and came together with union educators to forge the path ahead to ensure that workers’ voices were heard in the new regime.
