This half day seminar is presented by Dr John Buchanan and aimed at Secretaries, Assistant Secretaries, Leaders or Coordinators of organising and Organisers.
This is a great opportunity for South Australian unionists to participate in a seminar presented by the Director of the Workplace Research Centre, Dr John Buchanan. John is very highly regarded for his work in researching quality of work, workplace trends and his insight into Australians at work.
John’s take on the social and political implications of the global economic crisis is both provocative and refreshing. He will examine the legacy of past recessions and draw on those lessons to create a vision for a new way of thinking about work, unions and our role in shaping the future of our society.
This seminar will provide us with an opportunity to consider real, long term, systemic change to redistribute wealth and create greater equity in our society.
Come along and see how you can apply lessons from past economic downturns and recessions to protect workers interests more effectively for our future.
