Feedback from a past participant
“The Workplace Union Leaders course can be an important stepping stone for active union delegates. Focusing on the wider union movement, the history of unionism and structured campaigning the course promotes a higher understanding of how to build power and achieve results in the workplace. The course enhances this learning with the variety of unions that send their delegates. I found the relationships with other unions’ delegates that were built over the five days [in December 2009] invaluable and I am certain that in the future I will be able to draw on what I have learnt from them and the networks we formed to assist in future campaigns. I recommend the Workplace Union Leaders course to all unions and their valuable members and delegates.”
