You will contribute positively every day to building the strength and capacity of the biggest voice for educators and public education in Tasmania.

Your salary will commence at $61,676 – $66,561, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The AEU offers family-friendly conditions and benefits including:

  • 13% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading
  • 35 hour week with an option for Rostered Days Off (RDO)
  • 4 weeks annual leave plus additional paid leave during the Christmas – New Year office closure period
  • Access to Reproductive Health and Wellbeing Leave, Study Leave and Personal Leave

About the role

Working closely with other members of the Operations Team along with other staff, you will ensure Australian Education Union Tasmania members, staff and offices are well supported and equipped through friendly and efficient reception, correspondence, administration, events and office duties.

The role is responsible for ensuring administrative processes and office procedures are implemented and maintained efficiently and effectively to deliver timely service to AEU members and colleagues.
