The National Tertiary Education Union (NSW) is seeking to employ two (2) suitably qualified and experienced Industrial Officers for our NSW Division located in Surry Hills. Both positions are full-time ongoing with one available immediately and one available 4 February 2024. The Industrial Officer position, whilst based in Sydney, does require some travel.
The NTEU is a federally registered union with coverage of staff employed in relation to higher education. The NTEU (NSW) is responsible for workers in all NSW universities and their associated student organisations, research institutes and companies.

As an Industrial Officer, your duties will include:
The position will complement an established and supportive industrial team in the New South Wales Division Office.
To perform this role you will be required to have or obtain, and maintain a valid driver’s licence; and right of Entry Permits.
Salary range is as per NTEU National Staff Agreement Level 7 ($118,251 – $130,556 per annum, plus 17% superannuation).
