ACTU Congress 2012 was held at the the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on 15-17 May. The theme was Secure Jobs. Better Future, and congress was attended by nearly 1000 delegates from every industry and sector in Australia

ACTU Youth Congress 2012
For the first time, an ACTU Youth Congress was held at UnionsNSW on 14 May 2012 - with the theme 'Building the Future: The role of young people in unions?'. Over 150 delegates attended, discussed their role in unions, and endorsed a new Young Workers’ Policy aimed at better representing young workers.
