The Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act requires union officials with financial management responsibilities to complete financial management training. This course has been approved by the Registered Organisations Commission and fulfils the obligation under the Act to complete this training.
You can do this course in work time if approved leave is available or in your own time at home - but you do need to complete this course within 6 months of taking office in your new role.
This course is made up of five modules which consist of short videos, fact sheets and other resources, which are followed by a short online quiz. You will need to answer each question correctly before you can proceed to the next module.
Please ensure relevant approval has been granted by your union in accordance with its rules and elected official and note the cost of this course is $125.00 (GST inclusive)
