Annual Wreath Laying Ceremony

The Annual Wreath Laying Ceremony is to honour the lives of loved ones lost or who are suffering from asbestos related diseases and for all workers who have lost their lives in work place accidents. Morwell Rose Garden, Friday 28 April, 2006 at 11am

This date coincides with International Workers Memorial Day in memory of workers who die, are injured or fall ill as a result of their work. Over 100 countries around the world observe this day.

There will be an ecumenical service conducted by Minister Heather Marten at this ceremony for families and workmates alike to come and honour those who have been lost or who are suffering.

Speakers have been invited from across the community who will also add their voices to this occasion
