The Australian Union movement stands with the Filipino union movement on today’s Global Day of Action to demand an end to attacks on trade unions! ACTU President Michele O’Neil has written to the Secretary of Labour and Employment in the Philippines to call on his Government to immediately accept the High-Level Tripartite Mission recommended by the 2019 ILO Conference, and to end impunity, and investigate the cases of killings of trade unionists.
