Lovemore Matombo’s gratitude for support during arrest ordeal

International - November 20, 2009

On behalf of my colleagues, Michael Kandukutu, Percy Mcijo, Dumisani Ncube and Nawu Ndlovu, we would like to thank you all for the support and protest letters sent to our government during our incarceration.

As soon as the ITUC advised its affiliates of the arrests, it was gratifying to note the prompt action of protest leading to our subsequent release on 12 November.

The ZCTU remains steadfast and inspired by both local and international solidarity from fraternal organizations and individuals.

Thank you to all for the solidarity and support.

Kindest regards,

Lovemore Matombo
