Lead Educator and Trainer - Public Service Association of SA

The Public Service Association of South Australia (PSA), together with the Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU), is the principal union with coverage of over 50,000 South Australian public sector employees.

About the role:
The PSA is looking for a dynamic Lead Educator and Trainer to empower members, Delegates, and HSRs to lead, advocate, and drive change in the workplace. This is a high-impact role where your work will strengthen union capability, engagement, and visibility across South Australia’s public sector.
In this role, you will:
- Lead bold education programs that equip members to advocate, campaign, bargain, and drive workplace change.
- Create and deliver practical resources that build leadership, engagement, and union power.
- Mentor and coach leaders and organisers to boost confidence, influence, and workplace impact.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure education supports strategic campaigns and union growth.
- Measure and enhance learning outcomes to meet the needs of diverse adult learners.Amplify member engagement through clear, compelling communications and reports.
About you:
You are an experienced union educator or trainer who:
- Delivers impactful, dynamic training for Delegates, HSRs, and members.
- Has strong knowledge of industrial relations, WHS, and workplace advocacy.
- Mentors and coaches leaders to build confidence and influence.
- Adapts learning for diverse adult audiences.
- Aligns education with campaigns and union objectives.
- Communicates clearly, facilitates workshops, and writes reports.
- Shares a commitment to union values, social justice, and collective action.

Salary Range: $121,107 – $139,342 per year + Superannuation
