Inaugural ACTU Union Media & Communications Conference

The ACTU will be holding an intensive one and a half day seminar on the 22-23 April in Melbourne for unionists with responsibilities for, or an interest in, union media, communications, publications or on-line activities.

The seminar is intended to appeal to:

  • National and State Branch media and communications officers
  • Union publications officers
  • Union web masters
  • Senior union officials and union spokes people
  • The program is designed to give participants high level exposure and access to the latest ideas, techniques and strategies in mass media, workplace, print and on-line communications.

    The second day of the conference will focus on the up-coming 2004 Federal Election.

    The registration fee of $180 (plus GST) includes a conference dinner and the program will include plenty of opportunities for union communications officers to interact with each other and some of the leading practitioners in our field.
