Where: Carter Holt Harvey ply mill, 251 Myrtleford-Yackandandah Rd, Myrtleford (corner of Myrtleford-Yackandandah Rd and Pinnigers Lane)

 

ACTU Secretary Sally McManus will attend the picket outside the Carter Holt Harvey mill in Myrtleford and meet the workers who have been locked out for a month after their employer walked away from negotiations on a pay increase, income insurance and the right to take annual leave over the Christmas period.

She will also be available for comment on the importance of penalty rates to workers in North-East Victoria, and Cathy McGowan’s inaction on this issue.
