NTEU Seeks Communications Officer

The NTEU is seeking applications for a Communications Officer (Publications and Web) to provide high quality editorial, writing and production services for the Union’s national hard copy publications and Website.

The National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU) represents some 26,000 academic and general staff in universities and other tertiary education providers.

Highly developed writing skills, a commitment to trade unionism and experience in lay-out and Website production/management, are essential requirements for this position. Knowledge of the tertiary education sector or experience in journalism or public advocacy would be an advantage.

Salary and superannuation in the range of NTEU Level 6 ($59,073 – $64,761) or NTEU Level 7 ($67,296 – $74,013) depending on skills and experience. The Position Description is available on request.
