Voters who backed Pauline Hanson’s One Nation and Centre Alliance at the last election are set to abandon the parties if they support the Morrison Government’s IR Omnibus Bill, according to polling conducted for the ACTU.
The survey asked if voters would be more or less likely to vote for politicians who supported the bill at the next election.
63.8 per cent of Centre Alliance voters in Mayo and 29.6 per cent of One Nation voters in Queensland said that they would be less likely to support the parties at the next election if they supported the bill.
With Labor and Greens opposing the IR Bill, the senate crossbench is all that stands between working people and a bill which will attack their rights.
