An OHS Seminar is being organised by the ACTU in Sydney in May to assist unions to achieve healthy and safe workplaces, in the face of changes at work.
The Seminar will provide:
to the August 2003 ACTU Congress;
changes at work on OHS and union organising to improve OHS.
The Seminar will include presentations by researchers, representatives of government agencies and unions, and will offer opportunities for discussion of the issues raised.
On 13 May there will be presentations by:
ACTU
researchers on OHS
Commission, and John Merritt, Executive Director, WorkSafe Victoria, on
responses to changing workplace arrangements.
