Submissions to the Independent Inquiry into Insecure Work in Australia were accepted between 2 November 2011 and 20 January 2012.

558 submissions were received – 458 from individuals and 100 from organisations, academics and unions.

If you made a submission, the information you provided has been forwarded onto the Independent Inquiry into Insecure Work in Australia. The panel and staff assisting the inquiry will have access to this information. It will be used for the purpose of conducting the inquiry and preparing a report, and you may be contacted further by the inquiry.

Your personal information will be retained by the ACTU for a minimum of five years but will not be disclosed to anyone else.

Unless you requested for your submission to be confidential, it may be published online on this site, along with your name, and may be mentioned during hearings and in the final report produced by the panel. If your submission was marked confidential, it and your name will not be published, but the panel or its staff may still contact you for the purposes of the inquiry.
